I am a set and costume designer and glass artist.

Illustration and painting is at the heart of my process in everything that I do. I have been designing the set and costumes for Theatre performances and Opera productions. I have also designed the production design and costumes for screen.

I thoroughly enjoy scenic art. I have found it thrilling designing for my operas and painting my own backcloths and dance floors. I have also worked as a scenic artist across the UK in theatre and major festivals.

I love to use my drawing and illustration in different forms. I have been making fused glass pieces for eighteen years. My specialty is using iridescent glass that changes in the light. I have also made installations, making my illustrations 4D into that light up.

I studied my MA in Design for Performance at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. In 2016, I graduated from the University of York with a BA in English and Related Literature. This gave me a thorough training in conducting research and analysing texts, which has been a very useful skill for my design work.

This year I have been working in TV and Film within costume departments as a trainee under Screen Skills. I am also designing another small scale opera for a UK tour.
